Multitaper Reassignment Broward

Parent Involvement

School Choice/Reassignment

A student's attendance area is assigned based on the address of their parent/guardian. School boundaries are established annually and approved by the School Board in accordance with Florida Statutes and School Board Policy 5000. After the first day of school, students must be enrolled in and attending their assigned Broward County Public School in order to be considered for reassignment.

Reassignments will not be granted to schools that are at capacity, critically overcrowded schools or to schools approaching the critically overcrowded criteria. All out-of-county reassignment requests will be denied unless they are renewals or from parents/guardians who are School Board employees.

Student Reassignment Forms must be submitted between May 1st and June 15th for the following school year.
